How to have a successful Fundraiser

  1. Meet with your organization members to discuss ideas and plans to SET A GOAL! Also set your sales and delivery dates. ideas
  2. Call us at 800.654.0941 for promotional material, posters, order forms, product samples, etc. These materials are provided at no charge to help promote your sale. We would also like to know your sale and delivery dates.
  3. Determine your selling price. Most organizations add $5.00-$7.00 each on the large cartons of fruit and $3.00 – $5.00 on the small cartons. The nut products and beef jerky have suggested retail prices on our price sheet, but the decision is yours! You determine your own selling price and PROFITS!
  4. Publicize your sale through all forms of media in your community i.e. newspaper, radio, posters, etc. Promote your sale to area businesses and other organizations.
  5. After you have completed your sales campaign, total all of the orders and place your order by calling us at 800.654.0941, fax to 352-728-5838 or you may email to suzanne.makin@ffbf.org or jill.gonzalez@ffbf.org. Citrus and nut orders should be placed at least 14 working days before your expected arrival date. Cookie Dough orders for Christmas bust be ordered by November 15th.
  6. After we receive your order, we will email you a confirmation of the order within a week. Most products are shipped together on the same refrigerated truck. We also load orders by drop; ONLY UNLOAD YOUR LABELED ORDER. REMEMBER TO HAVE PLENTY OF HELP AVAILABLE TO UNLOAD YOUR ORDER (truck drivers are not responsible to help unload). Cookie Dough Orders will be shipped and delivered separately, by our Cookie Dough Supplier.

Our office must also be notified immediately or we will assume your order has arrived in good condition. Any spoilage is to be reported to our office within 48 hours of delivery.
  8. Deliver or have your customers pick up their order. Remind all customers that citrus fruit is a perishable product and the fruit must be stored in a cold environment, preferably refrigeration, and be used promptly for best flavor and quality.
  9. Do not pay the truck driver. We will email you your an invoice. Payment is due at the time you receive your invoice. ideas ideas ideas ideas ideas
