Meet the Folks
Chad Roberts
Chad Roberts is director and general manager of the Florida Agricultural Marketing Association (FAMA), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Florida Farm Bureau Federation, which markets agricultural products across the country to over 25 states. In addition to promoting the Florida member-to-member marketing program, he travels extensively across the country working with other state Farm Bureaus, agricultural educators, FFA organizations as well as many civic groups to promote Florida Farm Bureau and Florida agriculture through fundraising and member service programs.
Chad is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in food and resource economics. He has been working for Florida Farm Bureau since October 2009. Chad and his wife Crystal, live in Umatilla. Chad and Crystal have three sons; Cooper, Colby and Cayden.
Nate Stewart
Nate Stewart is Assistant Director of the Florida Agricultural Marketing Association (FAMA).
Nate is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural communications. He has been working for Florida Farm Bureau since May 2015. A native to Florida, Nate and his wife, Kendall, live in Groveland. Nate and Kendall have one daughter; Paisley.
Suzanne Makin
Suzanne Makin joined Florida Farm Bureau in March of 2015 in the position of office manager.
Suzanne’s lengthy history of customer service experience comes from a diverse background in the retail and health care industries.
Suzanne has one adult son and one granddaughter.
Jill Gonzalez
Jill is a veteran of the United States Army; serving six years active duty as a Food Service Specialist, spending half of her time in Germany before returning stateside, where she met and married her husband of 25 years, David. They are a blended family with two grown sons, Michael and David Jr. She is a graduate of Bryant & Stratton College where she earned her Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies, graduating at the top of her class.
She is a native of New York State, but has lived in Florida for the last almost 20 years.
Cody Clark
Cody Clark is the Manager of Direct Marketing for the Florida Agricultural Marketing Association (FAMA). He grew up in Lakeland, Florida where he was involved in his family’s cattle operation, and at the time, citrus operations. Cody is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in food and resource economics. As a student at the University of Florida, he was an active brother of the Alpha Gamma Rho agricultural fraternity. He has experience in production agriculture from holding various positions throughout college and after obtaining his degree. At FAMA, Cody is responsible for the member-to-member marketing program, commonly referred to as the Florida Farm Bureau Buyers Club. Cody has been working for the Florida Farm Bureau Federation since July 2022.
